the rest of the story . . .

The film Walk the Line
begins and ends with Johnny Cash's famous concert at
Folsom Prison in 1968. Tragically, it leaves Cash struggling with drugs and
booze. Later he would write:

"I thought I'd left [God], but He hadn't left me. I felt something very powerful
start to happen to me, a sensation of utter peace, clarity, and sobriety. . . .
The greatest joy of my life was that I no longer
felt separated from Him. Now he is my Counselor, my Rock of Ages to stand upon"
(quoted in Christianity Today).
