The film Walk the Line begins and ends with Johnny Cash's famous concert at Folsom Prison in 1968. Tragically, it leaves Cash struggling with drugs and booze. Later he would write:

"I thought I'd left [God], but He hadn't left me. I felt something very powerful start to happen to me, a sensation of utter peace, clarity, and sobriety. . . . The greatest joy of my life was that I no longer felt separated from Him. Now he is my Counselor, my Rock of Ages to stand upon" (quoted in Christianity Today).
