July: South Korean Muslims pray for Christian hostages (Photo from ChristianPost.com)

January 1, 2008: Webzine
2007 year in review

Welcome to my fifth annual, totally subjective and slightly biased review of the past year at www.jameswatkins.com.
Dominating the headlines for 2007: the never-ending parade of celebrities in and out of rehab (and jail), the never-ending 2008
presidential campaign, and, of course, the never-ending
war in Iraq. Fortunately, the never-ending grace of God held the planet together
for another year despite the meltdown of the Artic ice cap and Britney Spears.

Since this was such a heavy year, the light-hearted stuff is denoted with a ♥ symbol.
(My new year resolution: make myself and this site 11 percent lighter!)

And, journey farther back in time for my rants, reactions and responses to
2006,
2005,
2004,
and 2003. Go back even farther
with my tenth anniversary retrospective of
www.jameswatkins.com.

Finally, gaze into the future as I once again predict the
events of the new year.
(I've been running the very same column since December 2002, and I've managed to maintain a 90 percent
degree of accuracy!)

Oh, one more thing: if you'd like to respond to my year in review, click
here.

Most of all, have a God-directed New Year!
